This DIY wall is fabulous, and I'm happy to see that brass keeps showing up in little people spaces.

I'm a little giddy about the debut of the brand Vividgrey. Handcrafted textiles, lighting, and furnishings are made to order from a workshop in Vienna. They describe their products as "modern heirloom furnishings for a home shared between children and grown-ups... balancing the imagination and vividness of children with a refined, sophisticated adult world." Music to my ears. I love it all, especially those web curtains.
Today I'm inspired by this shoot. It's styled here for a teenager but a few small tweaks could transform it into an adorable toddler space. Good style is flexible like that. Check out the link for behind the scenes info.
Shopping for lighting is probably my favorite part of styling a room. I'm getting plenty of opportunities since our new place has quite a few "nipple lights," those generic ceiling fixtures that look like breasts. The pendant light in this room is the cherry on top of a delicious sundae. I'm always amazed at how lighting can transform a space.
Isn't this a glamorous space? It's completely unexpected for a child's room, and I love that. Even if your home doesn't have spectacular ceilings like these, you can still add drama with lighting, wall art, and beautiful furniture. via here
This DIY project would be an unexpected touch in a baby's room.
