I have a recurring fantasy where I buy a run-down Eichler, restore and renovate it, and live happily ever after. Sounds like this family is living my dream.
This is one of the loveliest nurseries I've ever seen. I'm swooning over the tufted daybed, the gorgeous lighting, and all the carefully chosen accessories. Designer mom Christine Dovey described it as "modern but still layered, delicate but with a restrained dose of drama... sweet and sophisticated--perfectly fit for a baby but not age specific--and, most importantly, white, soft and pure." Sounds like the recipe for perfection.
This DIY wall is fabulous, and I'm happy to see that brass keeps showing up in little people spaces.
I love this wall! You can have a version of this bookshelf and beautiful row of dutch houses in your nursery or play room. Check out the free PDF tutorial to see how to make them out of an old ladder and pallets.
I love all the vintage touches in this room. The print, from Vintage Posters Only, over the mantle brings it all together.
I'm helping a friend of mine create a nursery in a little nook off her bedroom. There's no closet for baby things, but there is an empty wall. I found this picture on Pinterest, and it's the perfect substitution. Shelving and a little bar for the cutest baby clothes = design solution.
