It's been a long, emotional week. Yesterday, I lost my beautiful friend Sarah. She was only 36. There is an aching hole in my life where she used to be, but every day I had with her was a blessing and a gift. I'm signing off for the week. Hug your loved ones tonight.

I have to admit that the plywood trend caught me by surprise. I'm seeing it everywhere these days. (Remember this house?) It works in this room, but I'm not sure I'm ready to fully embrace it. What do you think about plywood in interior design? Yes or no? via here
I've been a bad blogger. I'm having one of those weeks when I have way too many balls in the air and I just can't keep them all going. Thanks again for checking in on my little blog. I hope to post more regularly next week. via here
I always wanted a bunk bed when I was little. This built-in version is awesome, and it makes a tiny space very functional. Looks like there's a great view from up there.
I just found out that a friend of mine is pregnant. It's been a long road: PCOS, a miscarriage, lots of frustration and disappointment. I'm thrilled for her. In honor of this big announcement, here are some sweet pictures of a mom and her baby from The Grace Tales.
I'm digging these unique modern shutters. We still need window treatments for little man's room. He's an early riser, so something that blocks out all that bright morning light would be helpful.
This new wallpaper from Karolina Kroon would be perfect for a little girl's room. Inspired by a winter sunrise in Sweden, it's just the right amount of pink. The collection launches tomorrow.
Work is kicking my butt, so today's post is late. A lucky little boy lives in this nursery designed by Sissy and Marley and featured on Popsugar. I love the design since our little guy's room has a few of the same elements: the rocker (in black), Jonathan Adler lighting (lamp not pendants), Sharon Montrose prints, Zuny animals, and the Lucky Boy Sunday Pale Nulle. I wish we could replicate what's behind the curtains. That view!
