There are so many beautiful things to look at in this room. The white walls make a perfect backdrop for lots of texture, a nicely styled bookcase, and sweet accessories.

Today is National Hammock Day. Once upon a time (before little man's arrival), I spent an afternoon or two reading a book in a hammock. And napping. Pure bliss. I recently discovered Hushamok: beautiful, portable hammocks for babies and kids. We might not get to nap in hammocks any more, mamas, but our little ones can.

I love spaces that invite you to sit down with your child and a favorite book. This one is perfectly done. 

Eek! Did you know that Style Me Pretty has a new Living section? When I was planning my wedding I was addicted to the SMP blog, and I'm happy to see that they have expanded their content. This lovely nursery was recently featured there. Check it out if you dare. 

I'm still crazy about black and white. This zebra, or zeebie as my little guy would call it, is rocking those stripes
