Hope you enjoy this lovely little room from Johannesburg, South Africa. That incredible bed was a DIY project by Nina's parents. Such a dramatic focal point!

It's hard for me to narrow down my favorite things about this room. I love the wallpaper, the chair, the light, that gorgeous crib, the textiles, the layered rugs.
Yesterday was an awesome mail day. We got our first shipment of ceiling lights, and it felt like Christmas. I've been dying to pick out lighting since we moved in. I can't wait to replace all the generic fixtures in our house (especially the hideous nipple lights) with some beautiful works of art. Lighting can make such a huge different in a room.
I love the combination of this white table with that wallpaper and the unexpected color of those windows.
We've been watching a lot of the World Cup matches at our house. I'm excited the US made it to the Knockout Stage, even if it was by goal differential. Since Brazil is where all the action takes place, today's post comes from Sao Paulo and a cute boy's room with an awesome brick feature wall:

Sometimes Mondays suck. Like today. I need a little DIY cloud light in my life. Instructions here.
Here's a sneak peek of the Babiekins nursery. The ceiling and chandelier are gorgeous, and I love the contrasting bright blue rocker.
This is one of the loveliest nurseries I've ever seen. I'm swooning over the tufted daybed, the gorgeous lighting, and all the carefully chosen accessories. Designer mom Christine Dovey described it as "modern but still layered, delicate but with a restrained dose of drama... sweet and sophisticated--perfectly fit for a baby but not age specific--and, most importantly, white, soft and pure." Sounds like the recipe for perfection.
