We have family and friends coming to town for the holidays. They should be arriving later today. I'm excited to spend this special time of the year with them. Wouldn't this home be a picturesque spot for a Christmas dinner? I'm looking forward to more space and bigger gatherings in the years to come.      I'm not always a fan of pink walls, but this room works for me. The rug, pendant light, and wall art make it a nicely balanced room.  via here

We are house-hunting. Santa knows the only thing on my list is a place like this. It has everything I love: gorgeous ceilings, breathtaking chevron floors, and spectacular windows. I've been a good girl this year, I promise.            My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the tragedy in Connecticut. I am overwhelmed by the immensity of the loss. 
Don't you just love cozy corners? They invite you to stop everything, grab that little person, and snuggle in for story time.
