Nursery Inspiration: Sissy and Marley

Sissy and Marley always create the most beautiful nurseries. This room makes me want to start hanging some wallpaper. I just missed the sale on Sissy and Marley for Jill Malek wallpaper, but it's still on my short list of possible wall treatments for little man's room.

My 2 1/2-year-old is still in his crib. I'm afraid to mess with his sleeping situation, because I don't want to mess with my sleep. This bed almost makes me want to transition him. Almost but not quite.

I have a confession: DIY projects overwhelm me. The arts and crafts gene completely skipped me. I'm not afraid of sandpaper and a can of paint, though. In fact, I'm in the middle of a couple of paint projects right now. I love how an ordinary piece of furniture can take center stage with a little color. This armoire, for instance:
