I've officially hit the third trimester, so it's time to make some progress on the nursery. I posted some early inspiration boards, but we've made a few decisions on colors since then. Australian company Lad and Lass sells everything from wallpaper to lighting to prints. It's all great stuff.
Finnish Interior Designer Susanna Vento describes her style as “modern, purified and Scandinavian style, carried out without too much of seriousness.” Check out this room of hers.

Sorry for the delay on this post. I meant to get it up yesterday, but it didn't happen. Hopefully it's worth the wait. Thanks to baboo design for this nursery inspiration. I don't usually love pink, but this works for me.
Michelle of screamy*mimi created this nursery for her daughter Maeve. I love the rainbow colors, and you can find lots of inspiration here even if you're having a boy. Check back on Monday for a completely different take on a girl's room.
I have to register this week. My first shower is at the end of this month, and I've been getting calls reminding me to get my butt in gear. A friend, who happens to be fabulously stylish, gave me the following short list of her must-haves-for-hip-moms. What do you think? Anything you'd add or subtract?
