"When it comes to being a mother, don't listen to anyone. Absolutely no one. Ignore all of it: the breastfeeding tips, the sleep-training dogma, the attachment parenting books, the wooden toys credo, food allergies hysteria, EVERYTHING. Being a mom is about developing your own style, just like anything else. Your kid is going to be complicated and tormented and amazing just like every other human being that walks this earth no matter what, so trust your instincts and drown out the noise. The only person who knows what your child needs is you." --Molly Guy, creator/director of Stone Fox Bride via here
Framed vintage ski posters make great wall art for little people. Isn't this a cute one? We are leaving for the mountains to ski as a family. Thank god for weekends and fresh snow. via here
I'm so happy that Domino is back. Did you see this feature in print? If not, enjoy the electronic version.

It's been a long, emotional week. Yesterday, I lost my beautiful friend Sarah. She was only 36. There is an aching hole in my life where she used to be, but every day I had with her was a blessing and a gift. I'm signing off for the week. Hug your loved ones tonight.
I have to admit that the plywood trend caught me by surprise. I'm seeing it everywhere these days. (Remember this house?) It works in this room, but I'm not sure I'm ready to fully embrace it. What do you think about plywood in interior design? Yes or no? via here
