If you are suddenly obsessed with getting your house in order, like I am, you might consider the Oeuf Toy Store. It organizes and displays things beautifully. I want one for little man, but his room is too small. Someday... via Oeuf via Oeuf via The Selby
Katrin Arens makes the most beautiful furniture for children. Her pieces have a raw, rustic look that is unexpected.

I'm taking a short blogging break due to a busy upcoming week. I'll see you all soon. A branch becomes a clothes rod: A colorful dresser: Clocks that remind me of band-aids: Muu has some great items for the nursery, but my favorite is their toy box. The panels on their furniture are interchangeable, so you can get a completely new design when your kid gets older. Or repurpose it from your son's room to your daughter's. More furniture with the interchangeable panels (Muu Sam crib)... I may have picked out the very first purchase for the nursery. I am obsessed with Iannone Design. They use eco-friendly materials like FSC plywoods, bamboo, sorghum, and cork with natural finishes to make gorgeous furniture. Their pieces also have a whimsy that is perfectly suited for a nursery. These dressers are my favorite: It helps that the crib we are considering is a wood/white laminate combo. I think the two together will be fabulous.
I can imagine a beautiful nursery designed around one of these items from Anthropologie: 1. This Ordinal Dresser would be the perfect home for all those onesies. 2. The safari busts are made with papier mache covered in vintage French papers. 3. $16 for these Letter Hooks. 4. Anthropologie has a cute kid section, but these hand puppets are my favorite. I was surprised by the selection of children's books. This Alphabeasties books, with all the illustrations done with different typefaces, would be my first choice.
I'm allergic to clutter. I like visually clean spaces, so I'm going to need lots of storage for all the stuff that comes with having a baby. That's why the Etsy shop modmomfurniture appeals to me. These toy bins are adorable. Added bonus: they are made with eco-friendly birch plywood, non-toxic finishes, and slow-closing lid support.
