We finally picked out a rug for the nursery. We purchased something inexpensive and indestructible from West Elm, similar to little man's Ikea rug (seen here and here). I love the look of vintage tribal rugs in nurseries, though. It would have been fun to splurge on one with a great pattern. Like one of these:

This might be the coolest use of an attic space I've ever seen. It has everything: sleeping space, play area, desk for studying. And it's all so bright and happy.    Colorado must be rubbing off on me, because I'm a sucker for tree prints. Textiles. Wallpaper. Whatever. I spotted this stenciled room over on Remodelista, and I wanted to share it with you. Great step by step instructions here. 
Isn't this a lovely room? This would be a great solution for a cabin where you want to maximize sleeping spaces. 
I always wanted a bunk bed when I was little. This built-in version is awesome, and it makes a tiny space very functional. Looks like there's a great view from up there.
