I saw shots of this townhouse on COCOCOZY (one of my absolute favorite home design blogs). It's the former residence of the remodeling couple from the Bravo show 9 by Design. I never saw the show, but I obviously missed out if this home is any indication. Even if you don't have seven kids (good lord), you can glean some ideas from the boys' room, pictured below. And more pics of the home. Since it's pretty cool.

Sharon Coplan Hurowitz's Fifth Avenue apartment is out of this world. Her son's room is shown below. What a lucky kid. I don't think I can pick a favorite element. Picture from New York Mag.
Loving these two rooms. Dark walls and/or floors can work perfectly in the nursery. Photo Credit: Domino Mag Photo Credit: Milk Magazine
Last week we found out that we're having a boy. We're both thrilled! I'm excited to start putting together some ideas for the nursery. We probably won't be able to get going on the project until late January or early February due to our schedules, so that should be plenty of time to come up with a plan. Here are a few (very early) inspiration boards to help us pick some colors. The carpet in the nursery (formerly the guest bedroom) will stay, and the wall color will probably be neutral. We already have the Room and Board dresser pictured below (different legs) that I think will be perfect for storage even though it's not kid furniture. The Oeuf crib is courtesy of my mother-in-law. I like the Eames Rocker, but I'm not sure the comfort level is best for the nursery. I've always loved the look of the Magis Puppy in a little boy's room, so I've shown one in each board. My husband likes the red best but isn't fond of the art work pictured. This will likely change dramatically over the next couple months, but I like to have something graphic in my hands when I'm working on a room. Do you have a favorite color scheme? Chic and Cheap Nursery posted these pictures of Baby Boy P's room. Great space. Favorite elements: The rug and the colorful storage bins.
Stay tuned for some inspiration boards for our nursery later this week. You can enjoy excerpts from Milk Magazine's new design book here. It's in French, but the pictures don't need translation. A few of my favorite rooms:
Becky from Design Public's Blog posted this room. It's fabulous--made for a child, but I could move right in.
