These swaddle scarves from Coveted Things are soft enough to wrap up a newborn or pretty enough to frame and hang on the wall.
If you are hunting for a rug for your nursery or playroom, Armadillo & Co has a great selection of practical rugs for kiddos:
I follow Jen from The Effortless Chic, and I was excited when she announced the arrival of her little girl. She recently posted pictures of her lovely nursery. My favorite things are the crib bedding, the picture vignette above the crib, and that light.
Before I found out that munchkin #2 is a boy, I pinned this room for my girl nursery inspiration: white walls, a pretty chandelier, lots of texture, soft creams and grays, a touch of pale pink, and a few touches of black. Isn't it a pretty room? I have lots of pins for my boy room, but I only needed this one for a girl. It's perfection.
Little man is growing up. We FINALLY switched his crib for a big boy bed over the weekend, and we had no problems. He went right to sleep and stayed there all night. All three nights. I'm not sure what we were so worried about.
We have a small powder room on the main floor that we know we want to wallpaper. Deciding on the wallpaper has been the difficult part. My husband and I are both very opinionated when it comes to design. One of the choices we can agree on is Ellie Cashman's Dark Floral. When I saw these photos by superstar kid photographer Alexandrena Parker, I loved the paper even more. Gorgeous wallpaper + talented photographer + beautiful kids = happiness.
Remember Evie's room from last week? Here's another kid space with the same Ferm Living wallpaper, pink accents, and Olivia books. Despite all the similarities, they are very different rooms. Which is your favorite?
Guess what? I'm expecting baby boy #2 this November. I am so excited for the baby stage again. Baby cuddles are the best. It's crazy to think this little blog started almost four years ago when I was pregnant with my first. Thanks for reading! It's been a nice week, but I'm ready for a long weekend. Chances are you've seen Zoey and Jasper already, but I can't get over how adorable these two are. They make me smile.
