Phew. Friday is finally here. I'm grateful to have a few days to recharge. I'm sure my family is hoping that the weekend seriously readjusts the crappy attitude I've had all week. Sometimes I just need to stop, take a moment to be grateful for everything I have, and realize that even when life throws a few speed bumps in my way it's still a freaking wonderful life. Happy Friday!
This nursery incorporates many different shades of blue, and it works really well. The crib is perfection.
I co-hosted a baby shower brunch over the weekend, and it was all pink pink pink. I have to admit that I might be changing my opinion on the color these days. It used to be so not me, but I'm a convert, especially when it comes to these five things:
1) This room (I love the rest of the house too):
2) This rug (to recreate the look above):
3) A skirt for mommy:
5) One of my favorite cribs, but it won't be available in this shade for long:
We had gorgeous 70 degree weather yesterday. Snow is in the forecast later this week. These temperature swings are typical of March weather around here. Fortunately, the cold doesn't last long and it's usually sunny. This room reminds me of Spring. I love the cloud pillow.
As much as I love wallpaper, I have never used it in my own home. I plan on changing that soon. Via here.
I'm a huge fan of Oeuf. I love their commitment to sustainable materials, environmental responsibility, and beautiful craftsmanship. Their new Rhea crib is gorgeous. Available in walnut or birch.
Finally! I woke up to a city covered in snow, and it seemed fitting to feature the color white today.
I love Kalon Studios' Caravan line, especially the new Divan. All of the Caravan pieces are available in 6 bright, contemporary colors. How fun!
Have you entered the Animal Print Shop's Fun Lux Giveaway? If not, hurry over to their blog for a chance to take home some awesome things for the nursery. And check out this beautiful inspiration space. I'm especially loving the unexpected brass accents.
