I'm lucky when it comes to my maternity wardrobe. I wear forgiving scrubs all week, so I didn't need to go out and buy a new work wardrobe. Because I didn't need much to get me through these pregnant months, I shopped for basics that would work with what is already in my closet. I love the bundle concept from the new maternity line Storq. This video shows some cute ways to style these four foundation pieces.

I'm back. My absence from the blog is an indication of the kind of week I've had--BUSY. Little man's room was at the top of a very long to-do list. My awesome, handy, talented husband put in some serious hours this week while I supervised like only an overly picky pregnant wife can. It's coming along! I also spent some time on Pinterest looking at ideas for those all-important finishing touches, and I came across these images of painted corner houses. What do you think of this trend? pics via here
My friend throws a crazy good kid Halloween extravaganza every year. It's the perfect way to celebrate one of my favorite holidays. Maybe I will have a Halloween baby and it will give me an excuse to plan a fun, spooky bash of my own. If I did, it might look something like this:
There's something very sweet about pegboard. It's probably because I'm a sucker for polka dots, but I love the way this simple, inexpensive material can look. A few ideas for you:
I love this nursery that I spotted on Design Sponge. The wood feature wall and the Ikea hack changing table are my favorite things about the space.
Now that little man has started Preschool, we suddenly have more invitations to birthday parties. It's nice to have a few go-to gifts ready for an invitation, and products from Odette Williams have made my list. I love these little apron sets:
The pear print from yesterday's post got me thinking about fun pear decor for little ones. Here are some of my favorites: 1) This pouf: 2) This print: 3) Silver decals : 4) Doll house: 5) This pillow: Hope you had a nice weekend. Mine was nice and relaxing. I wish I were still relaxing, lounging somewhere with a book, but Monday is here. via here
Photowall just launched a new line of children's wallpaper from Swedish illustrator Ingela P Arrhenius. It's pretty awesome:
