I'm lucky when it comes to my maternity wardrobe. I wear forgiving scrubs all week, so I didn't need to go out and buy a new work wardrobe. Because I didn't need much to get me through these pregnant months, I shopped for basics that would work with what is already in my closet. I'm back. My absence from the blog is an indication of the kind of week I've had--BUSY. Little man's room was at the top of a very long to-do list. My awesome, handy, talented husband put in some serious hours this week while I supervised like only an overly picky pregnant wife can. It's coming along! I also spent some time on Pinterest looking at ideas for those all-important finishing touches, and I came across these images of painted corner houses. What do you think of this trend?

My friend throws a crazy good kid Halloween extravaganza every year. It's the perfect way to celebrate one of my favorite holidays. Maybe I will have a Halloween baby and it will give me an excuse to plan a fun, spooky bash of my own. If I did, it might look something like this:

Now that little man has started Preschool, we suddenly have more invitations to birthday parties. It's nice to have a few go-to gifts ready for an invitation, and products from Odette Williams have made my list. I love these little apron sets:
