I'm a big fan of Amber Lewis from Amber Interiors. I check her blog regularly. She is a genius when it comes to mixing and matching textiles, and her homes always have that cool California vibe. Her latest work featured in Domaine lives up to all my expectations. I'm obsessed with the nursery.

Sissy and Marley designs always get a big thumbs up from me. Their latest work on Gabriel's room is one of my favorites. You can tell everything was carefully chosen. The wallpaper, the "blah blah" blanket, the prints, the desk light, the pendant, the books, the pillows, and even the the toy cars all complement each other.
We finally picked out a rug for the nursery. We purchased something inexpensive and indestructible from West Elm, similar to little man's Ikea rug (seen here and here). I love the look of vintage tribal rugs in nurseries, though. It would have been fun to splurge on one with a great pattern. Like one of these:
Hope you enjoy this lovely little room from Johannesburg, South Africa. That incredible bed was a DIY project by Nina's parents. Such a dramatic focal point!
I've posted pics of Jenni Kayne's LA home here. Home crush! I'm equally enchanted with her vacation house. When she and her sister found out that the Lake Tahoe house where they grew up was on the market, they jumped at the chance to purchase it. I love the tasteful renovation and decoration choices they made.
I wish I had room for a big sofa in our nursery. During the first year, I think they are more practical than rockers. This nursery is large enough to accommodate what looks like a very comfortable sofa, and the rest of the details are nice too.
I can't help it. I'm blaming it on pregnancy hormones. Lately, I've been all mushy thinking about little man and the new baby. My brother and I have always been close, and I'm hoping for a similar relationship for my two guys.
