Last week we found out that we're having a boy. We're both thrilled! I'm excited to start putting together some ideas for the nursery. We probably won't be able to get going on the project until late January or early February due to our schedules, so that should be plenty of time to come up with a plan.

Here are a few (very early) inspiration boards to help us pick some colors. The carpet in the nursery (formerly the guest bedroom) will stay, and the wall color will probably be neutral. We already have the Room and Board dresser pictured below (different legs) that I think will be perfect for storage even though it's not kid furniture. The Oeuf crib is courtesy of my mother-in-law. I like the Eames Rocker, but I'm not sure the comfort level is best for the nursery. I've always loved the look of the Magis Puppy in a little boy's room, so I've shown one in each board.

My husband likes the red best but isn't fond of the art work pictured. This will likely change dramatically over the next couple months, but I like to have something graphic in my hands when I'm working on a room. Do you have a favorite color scheme?

Love these ideas!

I love the orange the best, but that's maybe because I'm going with blue and orange for our nursery so I'm just biased ;) All are beautiful though :)

The orange is my favorite too. They're all cute though.

I actually really love the red when I see it in your blog but I'm digging orange for myself... I SO need to create an inspiration board to try to get my image in my head to come together!
