Where the Wild Things Are is one of my favorite books. Of all time. A little nursery inspiration in its honor.

My husband has very strong opinions on design and decor. Fortunately, we have similar tastes, so it's not usually an issue. We don't see eye to eye on the mobile for the nursery, though. He found a  cute wooden animal mobile that he loves. I like his choice but feel the scale is off--too small for the wall and crib. I think we need something much larger, like one of these mobiles from Adrift. Plus, I think a bigger mobile will be more interesting for our little guy to watch. Hopefully, we come to a compromise soon.

We are down to finishing touches on the nursery. Sneak preview coming soon.

These mobiles from DwellStudio are crafted from die-cut card stock paper and hang from a thin acrylic disc. I had a chance to see them in person, and they look even better than on the computer screen.

These mobiles by Julie Frith are so much fun. The planet one glows in the dark.

I saw this little boy's room on Black Eiffel, and I think it's the perfect inspiration for a nursery.

Favorite elements: Graphic rug, paint colors, bedding, mobile, window treatment. Pretty much everything.

Boys are fun. I'd love to design a room around one of these:
