It's not surprising that today's family home is so beautifully done. The owners are a cinematographer/set designer couple who took an old barn and turned it into something fabulous. I love homes that feel collected over time, and this one certainly does. I also love adorable babies, and theirs is pretty darn cute.
Kelly Wearstler. What can I say? I'm a fan. I love it all: her sense of style, her bold decor choices, her adorable boys Oliver and Elliot. Hope you enjoy these pics.
I love this home tour that I spotted here. Those bookshelves, the wallpaper, the "climbing wall." Full on swoon.
Moroccan rugs are everywhere right now. I decided to jump on the bandwagon for our living room, and I'm so glad I did. It's one of my new favorite things. If you are interested in a genuine Beni Ourain, check out Beyond Marrakech. Danielle was amazingly helpful and patient with my countless questions. My carpet arrived in just 4 days all the way from Morocco. I was hesitant to buy something without seeing it in person first, but it's gorgeous and so soft. I haven't forgotten about the requests to see pictures of my new home. Coming soon...

Remember this nursery? It might be my favorite baby space ever. Style Me Pretty Living just featured the rest of Christine Dovey's home, and it's as fabulous as the nursery. Ostrich wallpaper, you guys! Check out the rest of her gorgeous pad (and her other kids' rooms) here.
I'm so happy that Domino is back. Did you see this feature in print? If not, enjoy the electronic version.
This home is lovely, but the two kiddo rooms are my favorite spaces in it.
January is the perfect time to get organized. After Christmas, I'm itching to clear out all the excess (especially toys) and start the year with a clean slate. If you need a little visual inspiration to start your own home purge, here are some beautiful pictures from Alejandrina's minimal home.
Have you decorated for the holidays yet? It's been an expensive few months furnishing our new pad, so, as much as I'd love to go a little crazy with the Christmas decor, we are keeping it minimal. Here's a lovely Finnish home with subtle touches of holiday cheer:
I love this time of year, but I have to admit that when it's snowing, windy, and only a few degrees outside, I start daydreaming about warm weather and beaches. Today, I'm fantasizing about this place in Corsica.
