Wendy Tsao wanted to make a recognizable comfort toy for her 4 year-old based on his drawing. It was an idea that launched her home-based craft business, Child's Own. I'm blown away by the care and creativity she puts into each softie, interpreting sketches that range from simple to the seemingly impossible. It's truly a celebration of a child's art and imagination.

I'm filing these photos under decor inspiration for my future home. It belongs with my all-time favorites, like this one. I love the light, the rough plank floors, that spectacular chandelier, the furniture, the open shelves in the kitchen, and the cohesive color scheme. It's perfectly styled as you'd expect from the home of Ochre owners Harriet Maxwell MacDonald and Andrew Corrie. All pictures shot by the talented Ditte Isager.
