I've officially hit the third trimester, so it's time to make some progress on the nursery. I posted some early inspiration boards, but we've made a few decisions on colors since then. Inspired by these rooms (all images from decor pad):    ...the new color scheme is bright red, bright yellow and baby blue anchored by graphic black and white and a touch of gray. Something like this:  2 Comments Australian company Lad and Lass sells everything from wallpaper to lighting to prints. It's all great stuff.    Finnish Interior Designer Susanna Vento describes her style as “modern, purified and Scandinavian style, carried out without too much of seriousness.” Check out this room of hers. I need the laser cut alphabet, the abstract bird mobile, the benches, the kid-sized chairs, and the textiles. Yeah--pretty much everything.        Sorry for the delay on this post. I meant to get it up yesterday, but it didn't happen. Hopefully it's worth the wait. Thanks to baboo design for this nursery inspiration. I don't usually love pink, but this works for me.     Michelle of screamy*mimi created this nursery for her daughter Maeve. I love the rainbow colors, and you can find lots of inspiration here even if you're having a boy.       Check back on Monday for a completely different take on a girl's room. I have to register this week. My first shower is at the end of this month, and I've been getting calls reminding me to get my butt in gear.
